Beverley horse racecourse events and race course contact details Beverley is one of the most popular small racecourses in Britain. Set on the historic 'Westwood' area of common land, high above the market town of Beverley, this welcoming racecourse provides the perfect location for a rural day out. It boasts modern stands with an uninterrupted view of the mile and a half circuit. Beverley is a right-handed oval course of 1 mile 3 furlongs with an uphill run-in of quarter of a mile. The five-furlong course is uphill throughout — a high draw is a considerable advantage. The ability to see out the trip is of prime importance here, even more so on soft ground, and doubtful stayers are worth opposing. One of the highlights of the season is the Hilary Needler Trophy, a Listed race for two-year-old fillies. Another feature is the Rapid Lad Handicap, honouring Rapid Lad who won twelve races here. Course Details Flat Course: Right-handed 1m3f oval, generally galloping, with very stiff 5f course. Effect of Draw: High numbers have an advantage in races up to one mile. Low on soft ground. 5 day weather forecast for Beverley Race Course Address and Telephone number of Beverley Horse Racing CourseThe Beverley Race Co Ltd.
